SMS terms and conditions
Effective August 8, 2026. These terms govern optional conversational text messages from Great Lakes Computing Office.
Program and message purpose
The GLCO Inquiry and Project Updates messaging program sends conversational messages about an inquiry you submitted, scheduling, requested follow-up, and active project status. It does not enroll you in unrelated recurring marketing messages.
How consent works
You may opt in on the GLCO workflow pilot intake form by entering your mobile number and checking the optional text-message consent box. The checkbox is unchecked by default, and you may submit the form without providing a mobile number or consenting to text messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Message frequency and charges
Message frequency varies according to your inquiry or active project. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan. Great Lakes Computing Office does not charge a separate fee for text messages, but your carrier's rates still apply.
Opt out and help
Reply STOP to any GLCO text message to opt out. You may receive one final confirmation of the opt-out, and no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help or use the GLCO contact form.
Delivery and eligibility
Text-message delivery depends on participating carriers, network availability, and the accuracy of the mobile number you provide; delivery is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You must be authorized to use the mobile number submitted through the form.
Privacy
The GLCO Privacy Notice explains how mobile numbers, consent records, inquiry details, and service-provider disclosures are handled. Mobile information and SMS opt-in data are not sold or shared for third-party marketing.
Changes
GLCO may update these terms when its messaging practices or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes apply prospectively and do not replace the consent recorded for earlier messages.
